First Pitch Two Wheel Curveball Pitching Machine

Batting Training Capabilities:

The First Pitch 2 Wheel Curveball Pitching Machine is made for middle schools, high school, travel teams, and collegiate use. It is a commercial grade machine at a great price for a 2 wheel pitching machine. With its 1/3 HP motor, it is able to throw up to 105 MPH while consistently throwing strikes.

The First Pitch Curveball is able to throw a variety of different breaking pitches. They include fastballs, change-ups, curveballs, sliders, knuckleballs, fastballs, tailing fastballs, and sidearm curves. Breaking pitches can be thrown by adjusting wheel speeds as well as switching the angle at which the machine is thrown. Both wheel speeds are adjustable (a dial is marked 10-100, can go slightly past to reach 105 MPH), which allows the user to throw all of the different breaking pitches. The ball turret makes it so you can simulate both left and right handed pitches. The dual handle allows for the angle of the machine to be changed in a matter of seconds.

Fielding Training Capabilities:

The First Pitch 2 Wheel Curveball is great for fielding exercises being able to do ground balls, pop-ups, fly balls, line drives, and catcher’s practice. It has a 360 degree swivel which allows coaches to send a ball to third base to first base with ease. The vertical adjustment of the pitching machine is just as easy. With the top velocity of the pitching machine being 105 MPH, it is able to throw deep fly balls.

Two wheel pitching machine are better for fielding exercises. Single wheel machines have backspin which can affect ground ball practice.

Recommended Ball Type:

Can throw real baseballs, softballs, or both. It will also throw dimpled pitching machine balls.

Real balls are great for hitting and fielding exercises. We recommend using real balls while practicing on the field. While in the batting cage a lot of coaches will rely on dimpled balls. Dimpled balls are basically indestructible and are able to survive the wear and tear of being hit over and over again.

Wheel Type & Accuracy:

This machine comes with two full size tires which will ensure the tires will last a long time and improves the accuracy of the pitches.

The machine is constructed of steel and weight saving aluminum. The First Pitch 2 Wheel Machine weighs 110 pounds. Due to the legs being able to detach, the machine is very compact and easy to move. The legs of the machine click in with a pin. It will take a matter of seconds to detach and reattach the legs. The dual handle makes the machine easy to carry from the field to your car or shed. DO NOT roll the machine using its wheels as this could damage the wheels.

Comes with a 5 year warranty which covers all mechanical and electrical defects. This includes damages that happen during normal use. (The machine has only a year warranty for academies)

  • Ball Feeder – The First Pitch Ball Feeder can hold up to sixteen baseballs, twelve softballs. It will allow players to practice on their own or coaches to have a better view to be able to correct the hitter’s mechanics.
  • Transporter Pro – The Transporter Pro makes it very easy to move the 2 wheel pitching machine on and off the field. It comes with large wheels which makes it easy to transport on any terrain. The Transporter Pro can be pulled by hand or connect to a golf cart or ATV. It also comes with a basket to carry balls and any other items you may have.
