ATEC M2 Baseball Pitching Machine on Tripod

Batting Training Capabilities: There is a reason that the ATEC M2 is a go to pitching machine for a lot of high schools, academies, and college teams. The M2 is able to pitch fastballs up to 90 MPH and can go as low as 30 MPH.

The M2 Pitching Machine can throw all types of different pitches including fastballs, change-ups, left handed breaking pitches (curveballs, sliders, etc.) and right handed breaking pitches. The M2 features a Quick Change Tilt System. The Quick Change Tilt System makes it easy to adjust the machine from left handed breaking pitches to fastballs in a matter of seconds.

The only difference between the M2 and the Casey Pro 3G is the M2 does not come standard with the micro adjusters. We offer an ATEC installed micro adjuster as an optional add-on with the machine. The microadjuster allow the user to incrementally adjust the machine vertically after all locking handles are tightened down.

Fielding Training Capabilities:

The fielding capabilities of this ATEC M2 Pitching Machine are endless. The defensive drills that this machine is capable of doing are fly balls, pop-ups, line drives, ground balls, and catcher blocking drills. Due to the machine being able to throw at a high velocity, it is able to throw deep fly balls and very high pop-ups similar to what you will see during games.

Wheel Type & Accuracy:

Comes with concave aluminum hub wheels. The wheels on a pitching machine are very important on dictating the accuracy of the machine. The wheels on all the ATEC machines are the best of the best! The concave tread increases the grip on the ball to ensure great accuracy on all pitches.

This pitching machine is built with a durable steel frame. The rugged steel frame along with the wide base tripod absorb machine recoil. This is another reason why the M2 is spot on with its accuracy.

Recommended Ball Type:

The M2 is compatible with real baseballs. It is also able to throw dimpled baseballs and foam practice balls. We have the option to add ATEC’s Hi.Per Pro Baseballs. They are made to have the same feel as a baseball and have optimized accuracy.

Here at PitchingMachinesNow we recommend using real baseballs for any on field practice, whether it is hitting or fielding. For hitting practice in the cage it may be in your best interest to use dimpled baseballs. Dimpled baseballs are essentially indestructible. Real baseballs will start to wear down going through the machine as well as being hit over and over again. You can obviously use real baseballs in the cage but it might save you some money in the long run to use dimpled balls.

The ATEC M2 is easily portable. Weighing only 95 pounds, it is very light compared to other two wheel pitching machines that feature large tires. It also comes with built in transport wheels so you can wheel it off the field to the car or shed. It comes with Quick Release Tripod Legs which makes them easy to take off and put back on to the machine.

All ATEC pitching machines come with a 5 year warranty that protect its machines against a manufacturer’s defects.

Ball Feeder - The ATEC M2 has many different accessory options. The ATEC M2 is the only machine that is compatible with the ATEC ball feeder. The baseball feeder has the capability of holding up to 20 baseballs. The ball feeder makes it possible to do batting practice on your own.

Ball Feeder Remote Control - The remote control is used to control the ball feeder. It allows you to start and stop the ball feeder if you need a longer break between pitches.
